Both tracks on this Double A-side deliver on the funk credentials that SLY have become renowned for, with aficionados such as Craig Charles always supporting their output. On the A side, their modern classic 'Boogie' featuring the vocal talents of Fullee Love (AKA Soup of Jurassic 5), finally gets the vinyl release many have been asking for. On the flip side there is a new SLY track which is the aptly titled 'Get Down', a sure-fire party starter, locking piano hooks with a horn section and touch of soul. Another essential release in the Bombstrikes vinyl catalogue. As always, grab yours quick, these don't tend to stay around long.

After the wide ranging acclaim and success of their single, Shaka Loves You return with their much anticipated four track EP. The Glasgow duo have delivered on their promise big time here! Kicking off with ‘So Funky’ which explodes into action like a funk bomb and features the legendary turntablist JFB! Next comes title track ‘Boogie' which includes the super smooth vocals of Fullee Love (AKA Soup from Jurassic 5) and has already had the Craig Charles (BBC Radio) seal of approval for its infectious groove. Ant Thomas delivers a masterclass in refined and exquisite delivery on ‘Flipping Ya Mind’ which marches on continuously driven by plucked bass and an almighty horn section. Finally ‘Livin for Tonight’ sees NattySpeaks and Profit flowing powerfully over super tight production and a vocal hook that will be with you long after the track has finished.
